Breaker A38

Talked to Sky tonight. Seems she and the others ended up on a different rock than I did back in the storm. Ashurta recruited her to help him change the world like we always wanted to, and I can’t deny that he’s got the power to do it. She said Ashurta and the Steel Knuckles were walking the same path and just didn’t know it. I don’t trust his destination, though. This ship’s adrift in the winds and no one seems to know where it’s going.

From what she was saying, seems like we—I’m—the one who started this war. But why am I fighting? Seems like Myer and Silas have reasons, but everyone else is just being blown along. Are we really standing against the winds, or are the god-kings playing us as fools? Seems like we’re acting out a little play for them.

Myer’s got a plan, or at least thinks he does, but I don’t give a damn about the details. I just want this mission done.
