Skies of Ticivorna
I don’t trust drunkards, let alone hire them, but we did just that. Breaker, Thaddeus, and I encountered a tipsy stranger in that seedy bar in Kingsport as we waited for the rest of the crew to return from their mission.
After this stranger purged the demons inside (all over the carpet and chair), he explained that he was a medic looking for guild work. I immediately recalled the alcoholic, self-medicated physician in the guild hall back in Hammerfall, but Breaker assured me that they were not the same person. Apparently this doctor only drinks to forget in Kingsport. As disgusting as his show was, I must sympathize a bit with this sentiment. I would much rather forget this seedy borough as well, but I won’t stoop to that level. My wits are too important.
My crew, won over by visions of SAW-AID and easy rest, outvoted me to hire this sketchy doctor. While I am acting captain, I am not the captain they hired. I must defer to the majority, and hopefully they know what they’re doing. I can’t deny that we need someone to mend Breaker after he takes his weekly bullet.
